Terms of use

1. The service

CSS Duel is a free online game. There is no entitlement to availability, to particular features, or to the preservation of stored runs. We may change or discontinue the service at any time.

2. Account and display name

You can play without registering; identification runs through a cookie. Clearing that cookie without having signed in loses access to your previous runs, and we cannot restore them. Display names must not be abusive or misleading and must not infringe the rights of others; we may change or remove them without notice.

3. Fair play

Forging results, automated submissions and any attempt to disrupt scoring, other players or the service are prohibited. We may remove runs and players from leaderboards without notice.

4. Submitted code

You keep the rights to your solutions. You grant us a simple right to store and display them and to name them on leaderboards as part of the game. Do not submit code you do not hold the necessary rights to.

5. Liability

We are liable for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body and health, under the applicable statutory provisions. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

6. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version published here at the time of use applies.
